Time to get some MPG

Hi all my name is niko I used to lurk on these forums when I had a Civic VX a few years back

I just picked up a new to me 97 civic del sol with the base engine. currently getting 41mpg. only mod ill be doing so far is getting either mpguino or some mpg tracking that works with obd2

So I ride my bike 2 days a week to work and have a 40mile total commute. but on the days that I drive to work my goal is to get to work and home on a gallon of gas.

The only ones I remember having ever seen were fitted VTi. Not sure if the base ones had ever been available in my country.

Thats interesting yah the VTi is the top of the line trim in europe

I assume you probably already know this, but just in case:
You usually get better fuel mileage if you shift up more, keeping RPM's down and use more throttle to accelerate.
