I drive a 2008 Chevy Aveo LS 4 Door and the Wife drive a 2005 Hyundai Accent 2 door Hatch.

We have improved our L/100KM's by a large amount. I take the bus so that's a start. The wife used to complain about high mileage. We live far so her daily commute is 50/50 HWY/CTY.

I told her to change her driving habits. Go 90 KM/H instead of 120... Coast to lights. Don't shift above 3K rpm etc.

She was getting 8.9L/100km's combined mileage. With my recommendations, she is now getting 6.3L/100km's combined mileage!

That's a good start! I'm taking on the challenge of reducing this to 5.9L/100km's combined!

Thanks for the Welcome! I'm so cheap when it comes time to spend money for gas... So that's why we have 2 small FE cars. Now, with Hypermilling, it should inmprove! :)
