I'm new here

I've been hypermiling for about 2 months now... It was tough at first as I was a very stressed-out, agressive driver ALWAYS exceeding the speed limit and accelerating to stops. Now I see how I used to drive as even the humble Toyota Prius or two flies by me and speeds to stops!

I've gone from a routine 18 mpg in my Crown Victoria (4100 pounds ) to averaging 24! I am very greatful to this website that got me interested in the scan gauge to monitor and change my driving habits. The gains are absolutely astounding!

Just goes to show that its not that hard for anyone to exceed the epa in ANY car. If I can get 33% or better mileage than the epa combined figure, anyone could.

Thanks,

Vic

Great work! It's what you do with what you got.

Thanks! What do you suggest? Its grille would be an easy thing to block off.
