Hello from a new Honda Fit owner
I just bought a used 2008 Honda Fit Sport yesterday and it seems like a car ripe for some aeromods. I am looking forward to seeing things other members have done.
My old car was a 1999 Chevy Malibu 3.1L V6 that just crapped out at 200,000 miles. The EPA rated it at 21 mpg combined, I regularly got above and around 30mpg, mostly because I drive mostly highway and I didn't travel above 60mph. I'm excited to see what I can get out of my Fit. |
Welcome to the site Abobalik.
The Fit is a great little car and will more than likely be pretty easy to hit 40+ mpg. Aeromods are a great place to start especially with all the highway driving. Good luck! |
Welcome ! Get yourself a scan gauge and then you finish tweaking the way you drive. It sounds like you do many of the right things already but without a feedback device you can only get about half of the needed tighting of the nut behind the wheel.

Welcome! Sounds like you have a vehicle FIT for the needed future tasks in your life.
Absorbing the data here will make you FIT as well! |
Hows the Fit sport doing? Is it buzzy at highway speeds? Is it quick in the city? Hows the city/hwy mpg? Is it easy to squeal tires? Do you wish it had a 6th or 7th gear? Can you tell it has a vtec rpm range? Do you wish you had the non sport model?
Thx. |
welcome to ecomodder!

I cannot speak enough as a newcomer to the ecomodder world as to the pluses of the ScanGauge II. I'm floored. If you don't have one get it now.... You'll never drive the same again. Period.

Looking forward to seeing pictures!

It's a good little rig. You're going to like it.
