Hello from Newark in the UK

Hi iv found this site very usefull and thought i should sign up.
I live in Newark On Trent in England and im always looking to get the best MPG out of my cars.
Iv currently got a VW Passat Saloon 1.9TDI 2006 and by using Hypermiler tips iv been getting an average of 68MPG consistantly and the best iv got so far is 72MPG.
Im now looking to adapt the car to get even more from it.
My first two mods on my to do list are;
Perspex Grill Blocks
Decat pipe.

With a plan for summer to make a full belly pan.

Those are UK mpgs I presume ?
Still great though - 57 avg and a best of 60 mpg US.

I'm jealous :o

Does the Passat have a DPF ?

Yes that is UK MPG rating.
My Passat isnt fitted with a DPF as it is the 1.9Ltr the DPF was fitted to thr 2.0Ltr

Im working on grill blanks this weekend so i should be able to get photos up next week.
