I almost bought a Toyota Tercel, but it only had a 4speed manual so I decided against it.

Welcome here.

thx for the welcomes. the tercel has the 3 speed auto. i wish it had a 4 speed, or the 5 speed manual. not sure if 1995's came with the 4 speed. i drive mostly hwy, 40 miles round trip. i try to keep about 65 mph. no mods planned. i will try to continue the driving techniques for now. would like to get the scan gauge II. will have to see what the budget allows in the next couple months. also, keep the tires a couple pounds over the owner's manual recommendations........a great car.
