Help in designing a 48V bldc motor controller

Hey guys,
My name is Vivek and I'm an undergrad student studying electronics and Comms engineering in Bangalore, India.
I am part of a student technical team that fabricate and manufacture supermilege cars for an international competition - Shell Eco Marathon Asia

This year we are finally venturing into the electric urban concept vehicle category and we need to design our own indigenous motor controller from scratch.
I went through ECOMODDER pages and forums and was really impressed by everyone's work and I was hoping you could help our small team out and guide us in making our own motor controller.

Also, please provide me with your email ID so that I will also be able to contact you
I am hoping to hear from you soon
P.S We are at our wit's end and would love your help

With regards,
Vivek

You should pretty much read this whole thread:

The design is open source and I'm sure you can adapt it to your needs. Schematics and such here:
Open ReVolt - EcoModder

EDIT: just noticed you're looking at BLDC, not DC. Well... they're also working on an AC induction controller, which (if I understand correctly) should be essentially the same as BLDC. You would need different code on the control part though.
