Help (for Highlander Hybrid - DC converter code)
Hi,
I drive a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid 2WD. A few days ago, my car just wont start. The techs ran a diagnostic test and the error message is P0A08. After googling, I realise that is a DC converter problem. Can anyone give me any headers as to how this problem can be solved and the cost of a DC converter for my car. I am resident in Ghana and the Toyota dealership here does not service hybrid models. Thanks guys for any help. Sami |
If you're still under 100k miles you should be under warranty for that still. I'd call up a dealer who does service hybrid models.

Hi Daox, I sure am under 100k. Actually just under 40k but i am resident in Ghana. Any solutions ur dealer friend can suggest.
I had a friend put my entire hybrid inverter train in his car and it works just fine. I dont know now if it is a problem with the hybrid battery or the gear box sensor. |
