How can I make my sad, rusty brakes not rub?

Cars been sitting for 5 months, the front one is a little rubby, going on a road trip tomorrow, want it to be not rubby. Ideas?

I don't trust them to clean off, is all, ...I should mention I'm at school and don't have a jack.

Roll back and forth in your driveway/carport with your brakes lightly pressed? Let the pads scrub the rotors since you can't directly access them

do a quick 1/2 mile non eco drive with lots of pointless hard stops, will clean them right up. That's what I do on the Supra.

Spray some of that brake parts cleaner on there as well to get any gunk off that makes the mechanisms pull the pads away from the rotors so they don't rub. But yes, pointless hard stops. Maybe borrow some gas from a neighbor/room mate saying you need some?
