Help from someone that know about cars?
Ok this is a stupid question because I don't know anything about cars really but...
The sensor that is hooked to my intake box that the mechanic said "has a spring and a plunder mechanism that tells the car when its in park" or something like that is broken, I forgot what the abreviation of the sensor was but ANYWAYS if you know what it is... ... Is there any better MPG version of this sensor? Might be a question that make NOOOOO sence but if im going to replace it I might as well get the better MPG version if it exists... I dont know anything about sensors or whatever |
might be talking about the TPS= throttle position sensor

You're not going to go to the auto parts store and buy a high fuel economy version of any sensor. Generally, the thing to do is replace broken sensors, then tell the computer lies by adding resistors, toggle switches, etc. as appropriate to make the computer think it's time to inject less fuel. But if you don't know anything about a certain sensor and how your ECU responds to it, I don't recommend messing with it.
