The rocker arm suspension is well known but I was surprised by the tuned mass dampers.

The platform lends itself to rear-engined and dual-engined variants.

Even though performance was marginal compared to the Beetle, it's impossible to deny the 2CV was a masterpiece of engineering.

The 2cv, the worst car of all time.
But at the same time has limitless mod potential.

Wasn't the Yugo the so-called worst car of all time? :D Not to mention so many obscure Chinese and Ukranian stuff from the '70s to the '90s which are a real POS.


In the end, even if the original frame would be unable to handle some mods, the body-on-frame layout leaves room for some impressive mods. Did you see anything about the Argentinians who rebuilt a local 2CV derivative in order to fit a Chevy straight-6 and convert to RWD?
