Hey all. I'm not exactly new to the site, as I've been cruising around unregistered for about 3 months or so. But I decided I'd go ahead and join up since I took some advice off the forums and pushed my Monte Carlo into the 40 mpg range. To be fair, I commute 140 miles per workday and a LOT of it is downhill. I keep my speed down when its flat and drive just fast enough to keep the tcc locked up going uphill. I coast it in neutral long as I'm not going over 55mph. I imagine it'd be hard to keep those numbers up if I ever drove it a lot around town. However I just picked up an old Saturn SC that I'm gonna go all out on. Anywho, good to meet ya.

40 from the Monte is nothing to sneeze at - congrats!
