supposedly they are increasing their engine's efficiency.

how come none of our aeromodders, alt-deleters and our hyper-milers are doing this?
these folks seem to be claiming 5%-25% increases in engine efficiency

Searching these forums with the keyword hho will yield many threads about it.

Because we know it does not work. 60 minutes had it on one of their shows. Paid some "professional" installer over $3k for the installation, then toook it to an EPA lab.

Results.
No gain in mileage.

HHO is like coldfusion for common folk.
They think one day they will be able to crack the secret and will be rewarded with infinite MPG, or something.

We stick with what works.
Some people (hho believers) have an aversion to using things that work.

Notice how (unlike this forum) their forum doesn't have a section for success stories.. *cue dramatic music*

One would think that "hho" would be a perfect mod to A-B-A test since it can be controled with a switch.

Other than solar power boost and severing the exciter current to your cars alternator field windings how many mods can be A-B-A tested with the flip of a switch?

Excellent point. I wish my VW diesel EGR mod would be so easy to test A-B-A; I'm having to rely on tanks of fuel use to demonstrate a difference.

Ahhh, being able to disable the EGR electronicly, good point.
