Just wanted to stop by and say hi, and read some of the great threads around here. I love eco modding it's a wonderful hobby.

Since I'm new, do all my threads need to await moderator approval?

I asked a question regarding improving fuel efficiency in a GM v8 engine under the "General Efficiency Discussion" form. And it seems that it never appeared. There did flash a message quickly after I posted the thread. I barely managed to see "You will be taken to" or some such. I assumed it was the standard Vbulletin message about being taken to your thread, where you can "click here" if that doesn't happen. But it just dumped me in the subforum, and my thread was nowhere to be found.

What happens if you turn it off and back on, and then try again?

You need multiple posts to include a picture or link. Good practice to copy all before submitting, the forum eats posts.

Yeah, I copy every post before submitting unless it's just a sentence.

Good computing rule of thumb though. My high school programming teacher always told us to save every 5min, and save to a backup disk at the end of the day.

Hmm... this is the only forum I've visited that does that. This may be some really old software. Probably time to upgrade the board software to Xenforo. Bad news for traffic if your board is known for eating posts.
