Hi guys,

Hi I'm new here, ice been a lurker of some sort until recently.
I joined/lurked to find different ways to increase my MPG of my 5.2 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Also to take advantage of the fuel calculator.

How do I get one of those banner things for MPG calculations?

Today I played with a front upper grille block. I made it with packing tape and white cardboard shoebox. I blocked 4 of the 8 grille openings. I'll post pictures when i make a lower block.

Welcome to the site. There are more than a couple of Jeep owners who may be able to offer tips & advice.

As for setting up your mileage signature: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ture-2117.html

Welcome to the site. Like Metro said, you are not alone with the Jeep adventure. A grill block is a great place to start off too.

Having driven a few V-8 ZJ variants, I've noticed that the Chrysler 318 cid / 5.2L may offer some usable torque (300 lb-ft) in efficient low-speed operation. The rest is up to high-speed aero treatments.

The "Low-Hanging Fruit" advice generally applies: get rid of mud flaps, cargo/roof racks, and block the grille (if possible). More extreme measures include lowering, etc. Consider a second vehicle for commuting and the like.

Best FE to ya
