Tell us about the ReVolting Leaf?

thanks redneck! I guess I didnt share enough details.


I have the 200kW ac controller as designed by paul holmes which I bought a couple of years ago. With a lot of help from Paul I got it to work on a leaf motor, but unfortunately never got it to work with another motor so I shelved it since the leaf motor was too large to fit the go-kart I was building.

Now I have a new project and thought to try it again. I learned some more, and hopefully enough to get it sorted out this time.

Unfortunately I couldnt reach Paul anymore and was trying to find information online and found this forum with a long thread of this exact controller, so I will post there and hopefully this will help me, and others in the process as well.

Considering even a truck equipped with a Leaf motor had been featured at some motor show a few years ago, a go-kart with that very same motor would pull like a 14 with a Playboy.
