Hi, Newbie Alert
I have just joined and my real name actually is Vern. I'm an elderly engineer (Ph.D NCSU in M.E 1968) with a keen interest in efficient transportation --But a warning, I am also a hot-rodder driving a 2006 GTO with 400+ hp that gets a relatively remarkable 29.8 mpg at a steady 73 mph cruise and a 1933 Ford truck street rod that get almost 38 mpg owing to it's light weight -- In the late 60's I drove a homebuilt (driver only) pure electric car back and forth to work for several years -- Glad to be here
One reason I joined was to try to track down a copy of a manual for a Zemco car computer from the early 80's as mentioned in a post by tomj quite a while back -- If anyone can help, I'm vgnc@bellsouth.net |
