Looking to build a EV

Want to build a Mazda Miata EV.
I am looking to buy buy a forklift and use the motor to do the conversion.
Right now I have neither the forklift or the car and am creating this account to learn as much as possible and prepare as much as I can.

Also, check the EV Album for examples of Miatas: http://www.evalbum.com/type/MAZD

You can get an idea of what components, battery layout, etc were used.
