high octane Gas and Hydrogen hybrid?

has anyone here tried to make their car or has experimented with hydrogen and gas hybrid?
is anyone planning to? I want to do this but have no idea where to start. I've heard of around 30% increase in fuel economy using a home made hydrogen generator from just salt water and water with like baking soda or something like that. supposedly a whole town here in the US all of their police department did this "to save taxpayers money" they claimed to get an about 6/8mpg increase ill add the video later after work

I believe you refer to an HHO system. It works by electrolysis. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this topic. Yes you can make an HHO generator that generates sufficient amounts of HHO to run a vehicle. However typically it will take more power from the engine to generate the HHO than the HHO will give back. In other words proof of concept works but in real world applications it will only work if you can somehow generate the HHO from a different power source.

Here are a few links about it on ecomodder...

Here is few articles explaining why a vehicle powered HHO generator doesn't add up...
