Hi All,

Stumbled across this forum while researching fuel efficient used cars. Figure I'd stick around, try and learn something about efficient driving methods and maybe try my hand at a few aeromods.

Currently driving an inherited Buick Rendezvous (or The Moneysucker as I call it) and looking to upgrade to something smaller than an elephant.

I apologize in advance for asking questions that have been asked a thousand times before. :o

Inheritances are nice, but yikes. What are you considering as a replacement for the Buick?

The only thing the Buick seems to do well is cost money. Both in fuel and repairs.

Working on a list of cars to look at. Looking for something that gets at least 30 mpg, can carry stuff (My dog's a mastiff mix, so it needs a roomy back seat :p), and is in the ballpark of $5k Canadian.

I like the idea of a tdi; though a number of people have warned me off VW.
