Has anyone ever seen or used one of these? seems way expensive but looks like it has a lot of potential.

Pretty neat. $535 is pretty steep, but I think it's really designed to complement other gizmos that they sell. You also have to buy the display separately. Also, if you go here :

It *appears* that the confirmed compatibility is very low, only about 26 models.
