Home brew Biodiesel for Beginners?
 

I'm looking for information on generating Biodiesel for private consumption..

I currently am considering getting a cheap diesel or fitting LPG to my e36 BMW 318iS to reduce my spending on Fuel..

A diesel would improve my MPG significantly, whereas LPG would just reduce the cost per litre.

Bio Diesel seems to do both..

What types of setups are folks running? How many washes?

Where do you get the Methanol and catalyst?

Appleseed processor, water wash until no more soap comes out. Methanol from the dragstrip, KOH through a contact with a commercial license.
