Honda/Acura Gear ratio

There is alot of information about gear ratios for hondas and geos on the web but my wife refuses to drive a manual. We have 1995 integra. Does anyone know the gear ratio for honda automatics? Can I change to a different Trans with a taller final drive (differential) for better fuel ecconomy?

Your easiest option is bigger tires, this will effectively raise your ratios. If you insist on a transmission mod look into Honda CRV FWD parts. I looked for a few minutes but did not see trustworthy ratio data on automatics but I know the CRVs transmission is the same design and will fit. I don't know if it has different ratios. There might be a way to mod your auto to shift manually.

Good luck

Are there other related items that I should be looking at? like lock up torque converters? and stall speed?
