Honda CG 160 converted into tricycle, used for home delivery of bottled propane

Had maximum speed not been so low (60km/h or around 37.2MPH) honestly I would be quite tempted to get one for private usage. Sure would also consider a smaller and lighter cargo body, in order to keep a reasonable accelerating with a taller rear-end which would be required to increase maximum speed to at least 90km/h.

It's no longer so common to see those motorcycle-into-tricycle conversions in my hometown as it used to be 10 to 15 years ago, yet they used to be fairly common for propane delivery.

It's shaft-driven, with reverse through that auxiliary gearbox bolted where a chain would be fitted to the engine casing in a stock motorcycle.

All I know is those rear wheels have a bolt pattern which had been used by Fiat and Volkswagen, and AFAIK by GM too.

Those are 13-inch rims, and no Beetle any had 13-inch rims as a stock feature here.

Yeah, now I'm seeing Geo Metro 13s. I thought they looked familiar. :)

Actually those look more like Opel Corsa B wheels, but that tire size is more likely from a VW Gol or a Fiat Palio.

Another one, earlier this week in a rainy afternoon.

Seems like such conversions are making a comeback in my hometown, where around 10 to 15 years ago I used to see a considerable amount of similar tricycles, yet mostly based on the pushrod 125cc model and with a chain-drive without a reverse gear, instead of shaft-drive as it's been more usual nowadays.
