A Question

Here is a question for all to ponder. What is the most efficient way of descending a mountain?

Certainly not by car...

walk? too slow
bike? better, but still too slow.
glissade? better hope there's snow
glide? with what?
skydive? mmm...getting warmer

A video for all of us driving in the slow lane.

"Dream as you'll live forever, live as you'll die today." -James Dean

Another video for those interested. My palms had never gotten so sweaty before watching this video...your's might too if you can see the feat beyond being a video. Imagine taking the plunge...I get goosebumps now.

Absolutely, Brilliantly Insane

I've really wanted to try hand gliding and gliding in a skin suit. Being poor stops me. Not because I can't afford to do it one, but because I can't afford to get addicted to it. Base jumping is illegal here, and in many places, but is a cheaper way to sky dive haha.

If you've never sky dived, go do it. You need to.

Not quite hang gliding, but some of the most amazing videos I've ever seen. I suppose this thread is becoming a video-dump, so post them if you have them... I love this stuff. Oh how I envy...

Himalaya Bivouac Flying

John Silvester Bublimotin

John Silvester Hunza Peak

John Silvester Rakaposhi

Brad Sanders Karakorum Flying

Brad Sanders Tirich Mir Circumnavigation

Homage Base

Loic Jean Albert

Speed-Flying the Eiger

Papua New Guinea Bush Flying

Sandbar Landings

Enough? I guess I like adventure...I don't know how many share the sentiment...
