How do you guys get coroplast home? :)
It is too easy if you have a truck, but I keep visualizing a Metro and a 4x8 sheet! :D
I tried to hang onto some 4 x 8s with the Tempo- no tie down stuff with- that was a fail. Went and got the pickup- the path of least resistance.
I recently brought a 4x8 sheet home in my civic. It wasn't easy but I was able to roll it up enough to get it into the passenger seat. I couldn't see very well but I did manage to get it home undamaged.
I had mine cut in half when I got some with my Civic. The 4x4ft pieces would just barely squeeze into the back seat.
I did it by bending it into an arch and stuffing in as far as I could into the hatch - this was incredibly awkward and I got exhaust fumes in the car and it was raining *hard*. There was a small "kink" in part of it, but that did not affect the pieces I made.
A pickup truck or van is really the only viable option if you want it to remain in a whole sheet. |
I bring plywood home in my Civic hatch. 2, 2x8 sheets (4x8 cut in half) fit perfectly from the dash to the package shelf.
