How to find ABA testing road

I live in central NH. Finding flat, straight road is really difficult. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for searching google maps.

How flat and straight does a road need to be? If I run both directions multiple times can I average it out?

I think the "terrain" feature on google maps helps. Look for roads along creeks and river basins where the area was long ago silted in, not sure if there is much of that in NH though

You'll use more fuel in a turn - even highways turns at moderate speeds increase the fuel consumption.

Not really.
It's best to record both directions separately if there's any gradient to speak of.

I'm pretty sure I found a good spot on the NH side of the Connecticut river. It's 15 minutes from home base, but there's not much traffic on non-peak times and plenty of spots turn off, make any modifications and start a new run.

I feel ashamed to say this, but there's a road a couple of minutes north of Lakeland that cuts directly through the Green swamp, and it's arrow straight with no change in elevation or any stops for about twenty miles. Speed limit is like 60 or 65 mph.

I've never used it for testing any of my mods (because I'm lazy), but if I ever actually do get around to doing any A-B-A testing, there's not a better place on the planet I can think of that would be better to test them, other than maybe the salt flats!

Haha, I used to live in Melbourne FL. Basically every road could be used for ABA testing in Florida...

I do not know of any freeways or highways in the Phoenix area that are level and straight. I thought that a one-mile street without crossroads would work for coast-downs, but there was a surprising amount of traffic, even at 03!
