Alright, so Texas isn't really like that anymore, but that's still where I'm posting from. Just a bit south of Austin. Most of my automotive and mechanical background would show me as more of a powermodder than ecomodder (Besides the ownership of a metro and a scooter), but I have developed a passionate interest in the Aerolid/Aero cap design, and am in the midst of acquiring a pickup truck to try my own hand at it. In the meantime, I'm soaking up all the information I can, and have come to show my support to Bondo and the rest who are already pushing ahead.

My garage looks like this:
1992 Geo Metro ~48mpg (Unmodified 3cyl 5-spd) :turtle:
2007 Yamaha Morphous ~70mpg
1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief ~14mpg (Disabled due to bad lifter/broken pushrod)
1948 Willy's CJ-2A -~10mpg (Disabled due to blown transfer case)
1964 VW based buggy/roadster ~?? (Disabled due to no parts at all besides the body and axles)

Coming soon: 1991 Ford Ranger XLT ~20mpg

Do I have this correct: You would buy a pickup just to try an aerocap. Yes? :confused:
