He’s cutting up the Ghia to put the body shell, minus the frame and floorpan, onto the Prius we seen the body removed from earlier

Those cuts are minimal to make two pieces. Why I don't know. Easier to move around?

Standard stuff if you're chopping a top or replacing rusty rocker panels.

I'm standing by to see if the doors are hung on the Ghia or Prius cowl.

Hopefully the prius cowl because it should be stiffer. Sitting on a ghia open door is enough to warp it bad enough it wont close.

Done rocker panels, haven't done chop top, did a ragtop conversion. Didn't piece the body.

Is that the top of suspension travel or ride height? Ghias look best when they're stanced.

Nice! I just hope you find a way to get more air to the radiator. Check the nose of a '49 Studebaker for ideas.

My gen III Prius hardly needs any air. I can run a full grill block most of the year if I'm not driving up a grade. Not sure what the actual airflow requirements will be, but if it's not sufficient flow, perhaps ducting the existing vents would suffice.

The bullet nose was 1950-51. The shark mouths are big compared to the Ghia. If more air flow were needed, I'd go with two more Ghia grilles turned upside down below the originals.
