Hydrogen Hybrid Car
 

Hi All,

I'm a bit new but I am trying to research the best solution to gaining greater MPG on my acura integra. I found several solutions and the simplest seemed HH car conversion. However I am concerned about how safe it is and if there are any tutorials online that outline this conversion. Lastly, how doable would this be for someone that's not too car saavy?

Oh thanks! What would be an easier solution? I was thinking of electric hybrid but not sure in terms of cost and how easy it would be. FYI I was thinking of doing a full on electric car but I don't have the time to put into it. Therefore, I am looking for something that is not too time consuming.

Hydrogen sound cool but doesn't have much if any on road application.

Start out by reading the hypermiling wiki or proven efficiency mod wiki.

Also, trying things that work, if you want to know what works ask people who have tested it or test it for your self, tired of waiting till you get to a gas station to see if something works? EcoModder Store: Get Stuff, Support EcoModder - EcoModder.com has Scan Gauges and they fit nearly every 1996 and newer gasoline car, giving you real time feed back, still want to try hydrogen? a scan gauge will help there too in letting you know if your device really is helping or if it is snake oil, thing is, no one who is selling hydrogen kits is doing real life, real time testing where you flip the device on and show an improvement, flip it off and you see a drop in mileage, simple enough to do, right?

A mod that you could just fip on and off when ever you wanted and watch the out come in real time on a scangauge would be ideal.

One popular option is to buy a 'worn out' hybrid and using it as a teaching tool, a way to learn hybrid mechanics. I just heard of a 2001 Prius with 300K miles in Texas that is available. Then you'll have a self-maintenance, hybrid car that can deliver significant mileage. . . . just a thought.
