Hyper mpg possibility.

Hello,

My name is David Moran, I have recently sought a patent for a super economy device. This can be coupled with any type of motor, electric, diesel, or petrol. The system that I have designed will I believe allow cars to have a capability of in excess of 200mpg, while also being capable of reasonable perrformance. My primary aim in posting this thread is to attract interest such that together we can get this built and perhaps manufactured. The intellectual rights in this regard need to be protected and I will therefore only divulge the full details to anyone who is prepared to meet and sign a non-disclusure aggreement.
As a means to raise finance to produce a viable prototype I will shortly be selling details of a lesser invention, a device to generate electricity that uses no fossil fuels. The details of this I will make available for a small fee to anyone once I have manufactured a viable prototype, subject to the signing of a non-disclosure agreement (for this no meeting will be required). This will be licensed for personal use only. More wide ranging use I will consider following discussions.
I hope you find this of interest and look forward to having some discussions.
Thank you.

You and Zoltanbod need to get together!

Welcome aboard, David.

To build interest here, might I suggest you start by posting the equations you've developed that project 200+ MPG?

I seem to recall a series of formulas showing that a one ton car, driven by a 100% efficient engine and accelerating very slowly, could manage about one light-second per gallon in intergalactic space. :D

But here on earth, things work a bit differently. A "super economy device" that would allow a typical street-legal vehicle -- driven in a practical manner by Joe Average -- to achieve 200+ MPG would be an astounding achievement.

So, share your math.

Rick

It's not powered by an e-cat is it?

Hi David, 200mpg bolt on? you are full of crap! Welcome to ecomodder! :)

Unicorn coral. At best.

All right, if it works with electric motors it's obviously not fuel related. And since electric motors are already so close to unity, any dramatic improvement would make it an over unity device.

Are there permanent magnets in a ring in your device?

Have you heard of the James Randi foundation?

Thanks for the link to Zoltanbod, seems interesting. a 200mpg bolt on, full of crap, you're absolutely correct. I said nothing of bolt on. Not an e-cat. Calculations would highlight certain IP that I don't want to post on line.
I'm looking for someone who has a machine shop that can produce precision devices and who might be interested in building a prototype. I am not looking for investment but a means to raise funds to produce the prototype or someone who can help build it.
The system that a typical car operates on, interference or non-interference variable speed engines coupled to a gear box is over a hundred years old. We have the bolt-ons, chips, variations in fuel types, hyrogen claims, etc. that claim to and indeed do in many cases improve the economy of vehicles. My consideration in my post has not been to improve what exists. Look at something and tell my how it works!
Thank you all for the posts and the welcome notes.
David Moran

Can't say I'm surprised by that response.

I understand IP concerns, but if you're unwilling to share even the basis of your 200+ MPG claim -- and by that I mean a true analysis that stands up to scrutiny -- it may be difficult to attract much beneficial interest here.

I do support the ideal, though. A legitimate efficiency jump of that magnitude would be a huge benefit to us all. I'm not holding my breath, but for general interest I'll stay subscribed to this thread (otherwise I'd probably lose track of it once it's moved to the Unicorn Corral).

Cheers,
Rick
