Hypermiling can do wonders

Practicing hypermiling is doing wonders for me, :)
I had a problem of headache (due to migrain) after any short or long trips before practicing hypermiling.

But now, guys believe it or not, after getting addicted to hypermile driving at least for short trips I can say the immediate headaches after driving are vanished without medication.

What changes I have done in my driving habits ?

: I drive slow (as if somebody is driving for me and I am relaxing at rear)
: Listen to light music instead of fast grooving beats
: I honk horns much lesser because I drive quite slowly compared to others
: I always keep extreme right side of the lane following the divider (we have right hand drive in India) in order to monitor speeding vehicles from left side only.
: I let everybody pass through left and don't let my adrenalin (excitement) takes over me and race with speeding vehicle

If anybody had the same experience please share,

Well not really the same, but still I am much more relaxed in the car when driving 'slow'. On the highway I only have to look out for the trucks, other cars just overtake me. Peace while driving in stead of rushing and hurrying. It was a revelation for me!

Keep up the migraine free driving style!

That's got to be a first - migraine relief through hypermiling :)

Less stress likely helps.

But for me, coasting still increases the stress of driving - especially with other drivers catching up.

I drive AT MOST the speed limit...I am never in the fast lane...here in Los Angeles, it never fails that some idiot will come up behind me and start honking their horn or flashing their high beams.

I've always been a relaxed but engaged driver, but I still know exactly what you are talking about in regards to its relieving stress. It gives me a way of keeping engaged what I am pondering deep thoughts...
