I can almost taste 50MPG
 

Dammit man ... I thought for sure this tank would hit the 50mpg mark. I guess it's no so easy a task as some of you make it seem .. LOL

I have to say, EOC, makes for a big jump in MPG's for me ...

Either way, This has to be a huge milestone for an automatic car ... I know I'm thrilled to be where I am and my success locally is gaining popularity for the possibility to save money on gas among my friends. They went from mocking the Vibe to holding aside conversations with me about how their MPG's are going up too.

I guess next week I have to get on my game, do the mirror deletes and the bellypan. That should push me over the edge, with just the kam spoiler and the front and rear wheel skirts left on my hit list.

This has become an awesome game for me to play, where I win no matter what ... LOL

I'm in the same boat, my last trip back from Buffalo yielded me a whopping 49.75mpg I was sad to not quite get there but just means I have to try a bit harder next time.

No doubt, the car is going into the shop sometime next week to make my temporary road warrior front end permanent and as factory looking as possible. While she's in I may accidentally shave the mirrors and add my rear skirts ...

50+ here I come ...

Dude! Once you hit 50, you end up striving to hit 60. When you hit 60, your inclined to still do even better than that and it's a win - win situation!

Please don't encourage me, the next set of mods in my head require the use of a cutter, a couple of welders and long nights tripping out over what I am doing. It's my happy place, but a nightmare for others to follow ... LOL
