My great grandmother and my mother in a US make sedan in the mid 1950s. What is it?

Hmm, I'm thinking a Plymouth... Belvedere? Or maybe a Nash. I assume it's brand new in those pics.

I defer to you, the rear fender chrome trim is different. The 54's Plymouth Plaza/Savoy/Belvedere replaced the Cranbrook name. |
I drove a '53 Plymouth convertible for a few months. I sold it because I didn't like the way it handled. Since then I've learned about wheel alignment. :(
I got a '58 Beetle convertible instead. |
I got another one

Here is a bigger challenge. What's this car, photographed sometime in the late 1940s?
http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1402718477 Maybe this 1940 Ford? http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-C06yqpNh4u...ordcoupe-3.jpg |
Nope. You can see how the fender is integrated into the door- the cut line runs right through it.
I'm thinking '47 Chevy. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r...psc71a482b.jpg |
