I nearly quadrupled my FE!
Sorry for the slightly misleading title, but as a long-time lurker and infrequent poster, I thought I should brag a bit  (although the title is actually accurate).
My Fuelly average for my Honda Accord was 21.7 MPG (US) until very recently. She started having problems with the tranny and electrics, so I had to get rid of her due to poor timing (moving across country within weeks of the issues) So once I arrived at my destination, I picked up another Honda. This time, a CBR250R single cylinder sportbike! I just did my first fillup and am happy to report a solid 78.4 MPG (US, 1.4 over EPA). Out of necessity, this is my daily driver, and once I get comfortable on it (this is my first bike, so I'm still learning) I should be reporting back with 80+ soon, and eventually some 100+ numbers. I know that the diminishing returns really kicks in at 60, I'm just going for some big numbers here. :D I already have a +1 front sprocket that I plan to install. Advice, tips, and free beer are always welcome. :turtle: |
I posted this in Unicorn Corral. The moderators moved it out.

I'm glad you liked my write up.
I'm also now at 88 mpg on my most recent tank. |
Сongrats!

CBR250R. Jack of all trades. I have 45,000 miles on mine and have been averaging 115 mpgUS all summer. 45F morning temps and running with the electrically heated clothing turned on will make my numbers a bit lower now but it is still a hoot to be out in the 65 mph commuting traffic with such high numbers.
