A sign of things to come? I forgot to check the DOT code to see if it was manufactured recently. |
what do the grades A-G mean? Why a decibel rating? Is 71 a good Db rating? IDK.

It is EU tag, I see them around at least five years. Afaik the tagging was forced by some EU commitee and thus lacks more consumer- oriented info like tread wear.
The dB rating differs by 1 to 2 dB in different tires, but this is no surprise as - iirc - being 6 dB less loud means that you are making half the noise. |
