Oh I told my first wife I was going to duct tape pool noodles to her door after putting 2 dents in the door of her 6 year old car I bought for her. If I remember correctly it was 2 dents in a week.

Pareidolia is a thing. If it's bundled in tape with wires coming out of it, people are going to think "explosive device." You can't really blame them. We still exist as a species, because we learned to avoid things that look sketchy.
