The illusive 91 Civic VX HF

Long time lurker. All the info a man could ask for.
May I present the 91 vx hf
5 days after I sealed up the engine fully tuned and getting about 45 mpg average!

So the rebuilt motors worth more than the car... I need a crx to put it in.

Once I get things back on track I'll take the car to the track and do some real testing with the mpguino. I was loaned an aquapulsar plasma ignition system to test. Don't know if it works... But it s free! No one outside of the company has published testing and I want to know if it works. I'll tell you all when I know.

Holy cow what a wreck. Sorry!

I hope you can get the swap done easily. What exactly do you mean VX/HF? Is it a VX engine with a HF transmission?

Your spot on. I'd hate to have an hf motor and vx trans comparitevly. Lol

Really enjoying the two stage torque curve

It's not easy to wrap one around a pole going backwards.

So happy it happened as it did, I'm still alive, and more importantly the drivetrain is unaffected!

WOW, you very lucky!!! I had just passed though a intersection when a Jeep blew a red light heard the brakes skidding looked in my rear view mirror and it T-boned a Honda. The cars flew though the air and landed 15 feet away. She the driver of the honda was unconcious and hardly breathing. Her head hit he drivers window most likely and could have caused unconsciousness but..her ribs on her left side were most likely crushed from the door bending into the drivers seat. I do not think she made it though the accident.
