Insight TPS Mod
 

I was going through the archives of AutoSpeed.com when I came across this neat mod for the Honda Insight TPS:

Browser Warning

(No, I don't know why it reads Browser Warning. It works fine.)

Anybody try this yet?

Bumping back for an old...but good article

I found an Insight wiring diagram that shows the TPS signal coming from the TCM unit in the passenger footwell, and being a red/black wire. Has anyone spliced into and installed this unit there?
Anyone have close-up pics of the splice wiring or a good diagram of such?

Looks like a 100uF/63V cap, and a 10K pot. Others have used a single 5.6K ohm resistor with good results.
