Clickbait title mistakes the 1930s for the 1950s.

But at 0:31 they demonstrate a waterwheel tunnel. This is something I proposed in 2013:

A bubble top Miata might make a good work day commuter car.

it's a MIni, built by BMW, to look like a Porsche, so they call it a "Mini Ferrari" concept. What were they drinking?

That angle hides the tail fin.

The MINI Superleggera - An Inside Look at Its Design and Build
Jul 31, 2025A wheelbase that is 1.6 inches longer than its predecessor's, a 1.1 inches increase in vehicle length, an extra 2.6 inches of width and a 1.0 inches increase in height give the all-new 2019 BMW X5 both a muscular appearance and a more generous level of space for passengers and their luggage.
Proposed as a limited production electric vehicle, with a longer wheelbase than the base Mini.

Second video says something like; the finest blend of British engineering and Italian styling.

Very curious as the production Mini has a French engine for cost reasons, and is the weak spot.

I'd say they were drinking French wine or Cognac and Armagnac possibly because the car looks kind of French to me, and I like it.

Keep in mind, looking French (ie A110) can be a good thing.

Even more interestingly, though, the A110 outsold the Porsche Cayman in Europe last year. The sports car from Stuttgart is considered the A110’s main competitor and even has a similar entry-level price tag. On the Old continent, the A110 sold 3,260 units versus 2,596 for the Cayman. The Boxster – the Cayman’s open-top sibling – registered 2,364 sales.
I'd drive that one off creation, beats an Audi TT that needs a $6,000 timing belt service every 40,000 miles or has Porsche's cylinder bore scoring issues.

Electric is the way to go, but I want a garage with solar panels on it first.

Got a quick quote for solar on the roof, 36kw, to run either the ranger charger or heat from the heatpump and fridge. Cheaper and less involved for me to buy a 5kw genset, but I have a metal roof and haven't had a power failure or brownout in 4 years. Could buy the pieces, but it is still a sealed unitary metal roof. Means I have to ground mount the panels or recover the roof, that doubles the install cost Maybe santa will turn me on to a cheapo non chinese genset.
If I really need power, the motor contrroller will power stuff that isn't frequency sensitive for however 16kw lasts.
Hope your situation is better organized. Sunny as heck when I was there last spring

Unirac makes rail-less module clips that fit standing seam and mechanically fastened metal roofs.

https://unirac.com/product/metalx/

Tri-fuel generators are the way to go according to the engineer I work with, he also has solar on his roof.

Video Description:
What does true electric efficiency really look like? In this video, Nicola Hume gets behind the wheel of one of the most extraordinary electric vehicles Renault has ever built: the Filante Record 2025.
This futuristic demo car has just rewritten the rulebook by covering more than 620 on a single charge, using an 87 kWh battery the same size as the one found in the Renault Scenic E-Tech electric – and doing it at realistic motorway speeds of 70mph.

The Filante Record 2025 isn’t a concept designed to look good on a motor show stand.
It’s a rolling laboratory, weighing just 1,000 kg and packed with cutting-edge technology, including steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems, ultra-light materials, 3D-printed components and bespoke low-rolling-resistance Michelin tyres.
Wind tunnel development played a crucial role too, with extensive aerodynamic revisions helping to slash drag and maximise efficiency.
Inspired by Renault’s historic record breakers and aviation design, this stunning machine shows just how far electric vehicle efficiency can be pushed today – and what could soon filter down into future road cars.
Nicola takes you through what it’s like to drive this remarkable machine and explains why this record really matters for everyday EVs.

At 13:48 it does a wide sweeping turn that shows those long boat tailed pants turn with the wheels. One wonders what the turning radius is.

Altogether, a good re-rendition of the 1925 40 CV. It reminds me of a Model T built by two teenaged brothers about that time, that appeared on Ecomodder but neither Google nor DuckDuckGo can show today.

This description confused me because my eyes saw something different.

In the video they explain it is a retro design.

Very interesting, if they had the resources I'd like to see two additional designs with similar Cd's using different configurations just to prove that all aerodynamic designs do NOT have to look the same.

Maybe they proved that with just one design?
