A purely open-wheel car, the boat tail skirts are new -- but Frank Lockhart had them in 1928.

Now here is an interesting one-off:
Made of 'Duralinox, a derivative of Dural Lumuin', if you pause at 1:00 you can see the riveted construction.
Those are flat plates rolled into simple curves, but it has a V-shaped tail and fastback that looks pretty slick.

Back in the day mags were wired like that. Go investigate antique aircraft in person because computers and their data dont have a clue WTF was going on if it wasn't reported

That scoop-shaped tail is going to generate downforce like a wing rather than reducing the wake like a spoiler/wickerbill. I saw a story on that and then lost it so I drew this to try to find help finding it, back in 2023:

A wing generates downforce efficiently by having two active surfaces at play.
This tail design has only one and is reminiscent of the very outdated 1965 early Chapparals and the like IMO.
Granted, the car is sexy, but the clever moniker is not supported IMO.
