Interesting take on high gas prices
I hope this is the right place to post stuff like this, but I've seen a few good articles/blogs on reasons for oil prices being so high. If you have a few minutes for an interesting read check it out here:

The second one was actually on CNN (and somewhat validates the first)

I'm not the writer of any of these articles, I just thought some fellow fuel conscious people would find this interesting.

Thanks for the links. I had been hearing that it is a speculative Enron-style bubble as well. Here is one current ongoing investigation :
