issue with the aba test
 

well, apparently my spedo sucks. It doesn't like to register any form of speed under 25 mph, under that is bounces around and just acts stupid. This is in a 1985 Mercedes 300D.. I must have an issue with the spedo cable. Anyways, I'll see about borrowing a GPS and do it with that.

How hard would it be to find a new cable? Sounds like something worth having, :)

easy to buy new, for like $121.00. The speed registers fine over 25 mph,I've verified with those speed display boxes the police put out. It's somewhat of a common issue just like all of the other common issues in my car. I probably could just lubricate the cable since that has probably never been done
