Funny bit is he didn't show us the engine ... because unlike the Smart Fortwo, for example, the car doesn't have a hatchback. So he couldn't open it up and access the rear engine compartment! To access the Nano's engine, you go under the car, or get the rear seats out of the way.

Ha - probably still less expensive!

Seriously, what are the emissions like on this car ?
Any better than that of a scooter ? ( I hope ! )


Also ......what kind of gas mileage does the car get ?

Apparently the car has passed a European crash test. As viewers have pointed out in the comments section on this video, this is a horrible angle to show a crash test, but none the less , I'm impressed with the results and hope it saves quite a few lives and amputated limbs for Indians that normally drive scooters with four people on board.
As Jay leno pointed out, the car even has A/C.
