Camry Aero Question ..

I own a 2007 Camry Hybrid, overall I am pleased with how its performing, when the wife is not driving I can achieve tank mileage above 45mpg with it, the wife struggles to maintain 42, sill not bad, but not my question.

Last night I came home in a blinding rain storm. Having rain x I do not use my wipers and as such I noticed something very odd. No water was dripping down the rear glass of the Camry.

The rear glass remained dry throughout the trip, except when I slowed down enough for it to fall on the glass then it would eventually dry up and stay dry.

I would assume that the water would at the very least run down the glass in straight lines, not stay dry. Where does the water coming off my roof line go? Over the sides of the car?

Thanks ..

On my matrix there is a gap where the hatch and roof meet, the rain goes in there and comes out below the hatch. You can find out for you self, take a hose and spray water on the roof and see where it goes.

It sounds to me like the air is detaching from the roof, this is taking the water with it. you might want to look into a Kammback or something to help this areo issue.

My se has the same one. At speed no water or snow hits the rear glass or trunk area.

U have any block offs in the front. I want to do a partial upper grill block off. But my i4 draws air from the top of the core support on the drivers side n
