The journey

Goodmorning, today is the first day of "free" modifications to our 2014 Spark with a 1.2L and 5spd manual transmission.
I noticed many members suggested I try this type of modification due to its cost and potential benefits. And, due to our move from northern Wisconsin to the Greenbay area I'm forced to travel approximately 300 miles round trip twice a week while we search for a new home. So here it is!! I'm open to tips and ideas and I will not be keeping this as it appears for good. I'd like to figure out a way to do this modification and make it appear much more stock. Attachment 32366 |

Does the car have a temperature gauge? If not you need to fit it with one. Covering that hole completely, in summer, can have negative consequences. |

Also the upper grill is still free flowing, I haven't covered that up at all .

Any single modification (short of a full boat tail) will have an incremental change.
How are the tire pressures? |
Tire pressure is set to 44psi, I do have a thought though. The tires on the car are not matching, I have 2 (Falken Sincera SN250) and 2 (Lionheart lh501) it's how it was purchased.
I'm thinking that may cost me a little in the world of MPG also. |
Seems like the MPG has taken a mild nose dive, had a brief 45mpg avg and now I can't exceed 41mpg.

A 10% change is noise. It can easily be accounted for by any number of things including wind direction and strength.
