chasin a dream and learnin along the way

I chose my username because I have been playin with economy mods and collecting info for most of my life. I attempted to build a few vapor carbs; had one , a Covey Impro 70 I believe, that in my book was a failure,(it got 30 mpg out of a 74 Chrysler Newport with a 400 cu inch engine, when it should have gotten 70). Messed around with high compression a bit, and I still intend to research and construct units to play with.

I have to say I really don't see the computerized fuel injection as it is , an advantage, as it seems to just make experimentation more costly and less adjustable. When I can drive a 4500 lb brick and get 50 mpg then all the liler cars will be in the 100's.

Ed
