Lupo TDI review from Top Gear

I don't think this video was posted here before. But anyway, I thought the discussion of 5th gear acceleration and torque in the Lupo TDI was interesting. Makes good points.

I saw this a while back (big top gear fan here ) and I've always liked the point about a acceleration from 50mph. I'm sure the percentage of people who every hit the top speed of their car is quite small and as far as 0-60 goes how often do you come to a full stop on a road where the speed limit is 60 and then have enough room to floor it without rear ending someone but to be able to accelerate quickly from 50 mph is important as anyone who's been next to a 18 wheeler with a drowsy driver on the freeway will testify to.
