EDIT: Check this out. Apparently good for 3 acres. No maintenance other than blade sharpening sounds nice.

Really cool unit.

I ended up scoring a 42" riding mower and mint Briggs and Stratton powered snow blower, both in great shape, for $150. Someone else was moving and needed it gone that day. Pics once I pick it up.

Probably will have a thread on my house soon too.

Should have gone with the electric goats. Opportunity missed.

Hmm, does anyone make an Android screensaver of sheep? That's on my list of books to read.

There have been a few movies I've disliked at first, and then increasingly appreciated over multiple viewings. Bladerunner is one of them. Napoleon Dynamite is another.

Ryobi...

Although i do not have anything of that brand, they claim almost all of the battery packs are interchangeable.

Which would be great. Use them for everything, from alternatorless driving to your vacuum cleaner to your cordless drill.

If i had a lawn (which is very unlikely in the near future)

I would try to get one of those robot lawnmowers. I have some of the irobot roombas and they work great. You dont have to waste your own time and it just does its thing.

PS: probably the us notion of a lawn is different to the eu one.

Actually, after I read the book, I considered it waste of time. I think the movie was way better. But, it could be just bad translation...

If the engine on the mower packs it in, you can always do an electric conversion...meanwhile, I'd probably convert it to run on propane...but that's because the ethanol in gas these days gunks every small engine carb that isn't drained completely, as much as the notably cheaper price of propane vs gasoline around here.

I can access ethanol-free gasoline quite easily, several stations sell it on my commute.
