165 charging points around the country will use direct current to charge cars in less than 30 minutes It says that charging points are no more than 60km apart- so even the New York Times should be able to operate one without too many complaints. |
The same thing has been done here in Québec by the national electricity company HydroQuébec. EV charging stations everywhere now since the beginning in 2012

Some chemistrys are good for insanely fast charging- it won't be needed much but it will make buyers less worried about range.
